Progress in the construction in Ramfjord

Production in Ramfjord is already more visible. In the overview photo you can see the foundation in axis 2, where the first level of the pillar was casted recently. Axis 3 at sea is currently being reinforced on the constructed wooden formwork between the piles. On Axis 4, the steel support grid has been completed and formwork is starting to be laid. In Axis 5, the concrete slab was casted and now its waiting for reinforcement cages, that are on its way. On Axis 6, the FAS subcontractor has taken the last piles and we will start the steel support structure there. On Axis 7 we are facing 2 challenging piles with the client, but we are moving the pontoon there to finish the steel supports there. The abutment is growing on axis 8.

In Poland, the first “forskalingskasse” was casted, which will be later placed on concrete slabs on the piles in the sea. Steel fabrication has been underway in the Czech Republic for some time and number of parts have already been transported to Poland for further welding.

Repair work is underway on the K12 bridge after the floods – an additional layer of concrete is being poured under the truss.

The last photo is from the “avalanche danger” exercise. There are several bridges in the avalanche danger area, so we have to be prepared for that.
